Art is in this girl's blood! :)

Well my fans and friends, my baby girl will be arriving very, very soon and when I get all better and healed up, I am going to be sooo ready to get behind my camera again!!! As most of my close friends, family and my high school classmates know, I have always been that creative gal that worked my magic in all sorts of ways. I have my own style, and I wanted to be unique. I have always done everything myself from making my own furniture to painting, decorating cakes, metal work, wood working and so on. Photography wasn't something I even thought about till my lil guy was born but once I picked up that camera, I knew I wanted to add that to my list! It's not something that I want to do to be out there to compete or anything like that. All I have ever done was just offer some of my skills to folks because they liked my work in whatever it may be. Taking pictures is as simple as my other work and I just do my own thing, with my own style and uniqueness and go on with it! Isn't that what an artist is about? Being true to yourself, finding your style in whatever it may be and it just plays out as naturally and beautifully as it can. I love being who I am, being true to myself and I am blessed to have all those amazing talents that I can use throughout my life. And I also love to look at other artists' work. I admire their twist on things. It's not a competition, but being true to yourself and stepping back to see your finished product and admiring your complete 100% piece of art that you created from your own heart! There is no need for copycats. Your work is your work! And I am not saying that you can't have help or even a little criticism, but that helps to form a better artist and create a better you so you can continue with your own stuff. :) So once I am back in the groove, I will once again be offering my services to you all, and it's your choice to either choose me to capture your precious memories or you can choose another artist. I am happy with those who choose me and I will certainly offer my 110% to make sure you are satisfied. I will also be throwing out a few deals and adding something new to my menu! So once again, I am very excited to crank up my camera again and can't wait to have some old clients back, as well as some new! Have a wonderful evening all!!

My horsey!

So I know this isn't a post for Marlee lol, but I had to do this! This girl has been in my life for a long time and I felt like I needed to capture some images of her raw beauty because you just never know from day to day what might happen. I'm wanting to get one of these on a canvas but i'm not sure which one I will choose. :) I love black and white images of horses and the black and white I applied to these is called 'timeless' which I thought fit perfectly!
I think this is the one I will choose for my canvas! :)
