PLEASE NOTE: Some images may appear "blurry". This was the intent of those images as they were shot using a special lens to create "movement" in these photos to portray the story and to give it more of a fictional, fairy tale feel. These images fall under a category called poetry photography which is photography that tells a story just as these do. This is a type of creative photography. Grandma always adored Zane. She loved him with her entire heart and would have gave her life for him. She passed away when he was just 17 months old, but in those 17 short months we made so many memories together. She was so young at heart and really believed life was but a story. No matter how old we grew, we always had that child inside of us. This story fit perfect with that belief and so we made this in memory of her this special Memorial Day. "Never grow up!" she said. "Just take on your adult responsibilities, but live your life with the spirit of a child." RIP grandma. We love and miss you. Until we meet again...♥

Josie {6 Month} ♥

I had the honor to photograph this sweet baby six month old girl! We did shots indoors and outside, but it was soo windy that we just about all blew away! LOL We hope that the weather will be much nicer and warmer for her 9 month session!! We had a very late start to spring this year!! ♥ Enjoy!

Marlee's Heirloom Birthday Bonnet Session ♥

As I wrap up my baby girl's 1 year photo shoot, I just gotta sit here a moment and breath. Very bittersweet for sure! This year flew by...no, more like ZOOOMMEED! But I needed to find closure in a purple field to create a beautiful pop agaisnt the warm woods that will be going up in our new home! I love yellow, mostly the country mustard tones, but thought a pop of color would stand out more nicely then the yellows that would just blend in! I haven't posted in awhile! I get so busy but I do keep up with facebook all the time! Be sure to like our page and keep up there! You never know what I will post! This family braved the cold and snow with me this evening and ohhh how I loved this session! Probably my most favorite to date! Not many people think about doing photos out in the snow or during the winter but believe me, they are so much fun and a great way to go with something more unique! boudoir 2013 ♥

Well folks, here is a little glimpse from a few boudoir shoots this year.....my first time tackling this actually! I was planning on doing these last year but my pregnancy was on the rocks and bed rest did not allow me to do a thing! I am in love with these! They are soooo me that's for sure....I do not believe there is anything about these that would give them an 'R' rating. It was pure fun! And I love some of the rustic/country flare in a few!
