Last Minute Fall Sessions for 2019

Just a reminder...our pretty falls days here in Northern Missouri are going to quickly fade away as October rolls into November. That gorgeous light & hues of autumn glowing from the tree tops will be gone for another year! We still have a very short time frame to get some pictures done if you are still wanting to book a session. Families, children, seniors...Although my weekends are swamped...I still have some time through the week. (unless a weekend event gets cancelled) How is it the 21st of October already!? And with this wind advisory today it sure feels like fall is behind us! I hope not but there goes the leaves! Message me for more details!

K+C {Engagement Session}

My gorgeous cousin and her fiance asked me to take some farm engagement pictures! Chilly, a little windy but a whole lotta LOVE! There were sooooo many good ones and it was terribly hard to pick which ones to post here. I tried to come up with a good variety. Thanks again and congrats to you both!

Kolby {Senior 2018}

I can't believe it's been since last Christmas since I have posted anything! It is now fall and one of my most favorite times of the year. I love shooting during the golden hour on those crisp cool nights. We decided to take this senior session to the next level! She wanted something unique and different than the "normal" senior poses. I'd say we (she) nailed it! This was one A-M-A-Z-I-N-G session. Probably one of my favorites to date! Enjoy!

Christmas on the Farm

I can not believe Christmas is in 5 short days! As a child I remember Christmas being such a magical time. We had an old fashioned Christmas. The wood stove was warm and toasty, the tree was adorned in vintage and handmade ornaments, the house smelled amazing from all the festive cooking and baking and the room always lit up with the laughter of loved ones. The animals outside were all cozy in the barn with their blankets of hay. Icicles glistened from our old white house, the barn and all the other sheds where we played. Mom and dad always put up Christmas lights and it truly was a winter wonder land. My brothers and I pretended it was a magical place and we played for hours outside in the dark. I don't ever remember the cold bothering us. But we were kids! And now that I have my own children I hope they feel the same way about Christmas. Although time seems to pass way too quickly I hope they enjoy every moment and will cherish those memories like I did. Here are just some images from everyday life on the farm. Although we don't have snow and ice all the time, it was so beautiful outside the other day while doing chores so I had to take out the big camera. Most of the time if we have some winter precipitation its just snow. But it had iced and the cattle had beautiful icy blankets covering their backs. I hope you enjoy these images and I wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New year! God bless!
